"sm70- why not Duesenberg?" (sm70-whynotduesenberg)

I will be in the metro Chicago area Friday-Monday, and I was wondering if there were any car shows going on? Preferably Supercar Sunday/Coffee and Cars style events. I checked online and could only find a few "American Classics Only" shows. Not that there's anything wrong with American Classics, but we have plenty of those here. I want to see some stuff we don't get in Nebraska. A wide variety of cars would be ideal.

No good car shows, but if you are up for going to Gary, Indiana there is an autocross event! Only 35 bucks if you sign up early!

Thank you for the suggestion, but a) it's 70 miles from where I'll be, and b) I will be with my family in our FWD Ford Flex, so auto crossing will have to be a pass.

St. Charles, as well as downtown Chicago, but for a good enough show we can get around. Downer's Grove is half an hour away, so the odds are very good we'll be there!

My girlfriend lives in St. Charles, so I know the distance well.
If you're looking for some good brew, Two Brothers' brewery is in Warrenville (roughly the halfway point) and they have another brewpub in Aurora.

Underage, but I'm sure the folks I'm with will appreciate that info, though they may already know about it.

There's something there for you, too: In addition to tasty food, they also make their own root beer that I'll regularly get growlers to bring home.
